Partners

We are pleased to have formed a partnership with Generation Green and Merlin Entertainments Group to help support our school programme and provide rewards for those who take part.

Generation Green

Generation Green is a schools and community programme from British Gas, helping to bring together schools, children, and their family and friends to help reduce their carbon footprint, as well as learn about energy efficiency through national curriculum-based lesson plans and resources.

The programme also helps teachers, pupils and the wider community see that small, everyday steps can have a significant effect on reducing their impact on the environment. It rewards them for their green behaviour with 'Green Leaves', which can be collected by schools and redeemed against a range of green prizes, from composters, to bike sheds, to weather stations.

If you sign up for the Accreditation for 2010, your school will also be awarded with a number of free leaves based on your Accreditation level received; Sustainable will receive 200 leaves, Higher will receive 400 leaves, Outstanding will receive 800, Platinum 12,000 leaves, which can work towards getting some great rewards for your school.

To make sure your schools is able to collect your free leaves, sign up at www.generationgreen.co.uk if you haven't already, and the free leaves will be awarded to your school when we've received you Accreditation request in July 2010.
